Official estimates of the population of Nigerians in the Diaspora vary widely, ranging from 1.24 million immigrants (United Nations, 2017) to as high as 5 million. The 2015 UN Report on Trends in International Migration Stock showed that the Top 5 countries where the Nigerian Diaspora are located are: USA, UK, Cameroon, Ghana and Italy.
